Academic Year
Create "2025" with start and end dates. Set the active year. All terms, assessments, and reports are scoped to the active academic year.
Terms
Define Term 1, 2, 3 with exact dates and teaching days per week. Each term has its own assessment period, report cards, and fee billing cycle.
Classes
Pre-seeded for your school type: Primary (P1-P7), Secondary (S1-S6), or Combined. Each class knows its level category — NURSERY, PRIMARY, O_LEVEL, or A_LEVEL — so the right rules apply automatically.
Subjects
200+ Uganda NCDC/UNEB subjects pre-loaded with official codes. Mark which are compulsory, elective, or practical. Set periods per week for timetable generation.
Subject Combinations
A-Level: define PCM, HEG, PCB, LAM and more with principal + subsidiary subjects. The system validates combinations and ensures no scheduling conflicts.
Grading Systems
UNEB scales pre-configured: D1-F9 for O-Level, A-E for A-Level, Division I-IV for aggregates. Use them as-is, customize thresholds, or create your own from scratch.

O-Level Elective Cluster System
Three clusters: Religious Education, Languages, Pre-Vocational. Students choose one subject per cluster. Auto-syncs with the timetable for concurrent scheduling — no manual coordination needed.
A-Level Option Blocks
Define which subject combinations run concurrently. The system uses graph coloring to ensure no student has two subjects scheduled at the same time.
6 Grading Types
UNEB PLE, UNEB UCE, UNEB UACE, Custom, Percentage, and GPA. Define your own grade scales with pass thresholds, colors, and descriptions for each level.
Assessment Weight Configuration
Set weights per level: O-Level might be BOT 10% + MOT 10% + EOT 80%. A-Level might differ entirely. Configurable per academic year, per term.
Stream Management
Each class can have unlimited streams — S3A, S3B, S3C. Set capacity, assign a class teacher, designate a home room. Support for gender-specific streams if needed.
Department Organization
Group subjects by department for Head of Department management. Sciences, Languages, Humanities — each with their own oversight, reporting lines, and performance tracking.
